Many UMA students enroll straight from high school. Others wait many years, even decades. The mix of ages creates a unique and exciting learning environment where everyone benefits. One student says, “UMA is like real life.”
Even if you don’t live near Augusta, you’re never far from a UMA classroom. Shown here are students on our Bangor campus, also known as UMA Bangor. You can also take classes online and at nine centers around the state.
UMA programs lead to careers in health care and the sciences, business, social services, criminal justice, computers, architecture, art, music, public administration, information and library services, dental hygiene, nursing, and much more.
Those who need extra help to thrive in college appreciate UMA’s supportive environment, small classes, and our caring faculty and staff committed to each student’s success.
Offering a high-quality university education at a cost thousands less than most places, UMA is a place where dreams become real and futures begin.
