- Do I have to get a new UMA CARD every year?
Your UMA CARD expires seven years after the date of issuance. If your card is defective, or you change your name or status (i.e., become a UMA staff member), or you continue your academic affiliation after the seven year expiration date on the card, we will reissue a replacement card at no charge with the return of your current UMA CARD. Upon graduation and after joining the alumni association, we will issue you an alumni card at no charge as long as you return your current UMA CARD.
- What should I do if I’ve LOST my card?
You should immediately call the ID Card Services Office at 621-3529 or 1-877-862-1234, ext. 3529, to report your lost card.
- What should I do if my card does not work?
If, for any reason your card does not work, or only works in some places, bring it to the ID Card Services Office in Augusta or Advising Services in Bangor so we can evaluate and resolve the problem.
- Why should I put funds (Moose Buck$) onto my card? Can’t I just use cash?
If you’re printing at the Computer Labs on either campus, you do need to have funds on your card to pay. If you’re ever on the Augusta Campus and are feeling hungry, take advantage of not paying tax when you purchase food at the Moose Tracks Cafe.
- Where do I get a statement of my UMA CARD transactions?
You can view up to 6 months of expenditures by loggin in to MYCARD.
