ACADEMIC RECORDS SPECIALIST CL1

The University of Maine at Augusta (www.uma.edu) has an opening for a full-time Academic Records Specialist CL1 to work in the Division of Enrollment Services.  The Academic Records Specialist CL1 is responsible for processing student registrations and payments, and responding to telephone and walk-in inquires.  Some evening hours and overtime hours are occasionally required. 

Qualifications:  Requirements:  High school diploma or GED; previous office experience; attention to detail; strong organizational skills; excellent interpersonal communication and data processing skills; must enjoy working with the public both by telephone and in person.  The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a busy front-line office. Preferences:  Knowledge of UMA; PeopleSoft experience. Wage:  $12.20 per hour with excellent fringe-benefits. 

Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until a qualified applicant pool is identified.  Applications received after December 14 will be reviewed at the discretion of the University.  Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, a completed Application for Hourly Paid Employment and take an untimed typing test at the Office of Administrative Services, University of Maine at Augusta, Farmhouse, 46 University Drive, Augusta, ME 04330, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
