  • 9 Credits of Upper-Level Major Residency Courses
  • Minimum G.P.A. in the Major: 2.00

  • BUA 301 Accounting for Not for Profit Organizations (3)
  • CIS 360 Geographical Information Systems (3)
  • Complete one of the following courses (3):
    • BUA/CIS 303 Management Information Systems
    • CIS 460 Computers & Culture
  • ECO 201 Macroeconomics (3)
  • ENG 320 Grant Writing (3)
  • POS 101 American Government (3)
  • POS/BUA 223 Principles of Management (3)
  • POS 234 American State and Local Government (3)
  • POS 354 Public Budgeting and Financial Administration (3)
  • POS/BUA 361 Human Resource Management (3)
  • POS 370 Municipal Administration (3)
  • POS 405 Administrative Law (3)
  • POS 487 Research Methods (3)
  • Complete two of the following Public Administration electives (6):
    • POS 102 Introduction to Politics and Government
    • POS 362 Labor-Management Relations
    • POS 365 Organizational Behavior
    • POS 420 The American Health Care System
    • POS 485 Public Administration Internship
  • Complete any 100-level Communications course (3)
  • ENG 101 College Writing (3)
  • ENG 317W Professional Writing (3)
  • Complete one of the following Fine Arts electives (3):
    • ART 1xx any 100-level Art course
    • DRA xxx any Drama course
    • ENG 351W Creative Writing I
    • ENG 452 Creative Writing II
    • MUH 1xx any 100-level Music History course
    • MUS 1xx any 100-level Music course
  • Complete four of the following Humanities electives, no more than two can be in the same discipline (12):

  • Complete two 100-level or higher mathematics electives (6)
  • Complete any 100-level laboratory science course (4)

  • Complete one of the following Computer Information Systems electives (3):
