Registration for Summer and Fall 2014 Opens on March 24.  Review course options in the Course Guide or using the MaineStreet Class Search function.

  • Prepare a draft schedule using the MaineStreet Wish List function.
  • Meet with your advisor to discuss your draft schedule. Make adjustments as appropriate.
  • If you are in a program/major that requires an advisor signature for registration (architecture, art, biology, dental assisting, dental hygiene, english. interdisciplinary studies, medical laboratory technology, music, nursing, photography, and veterinary technology), ask your advisor to “Approve your Schedule” in MaineStreet. Please note, once a schedule has been approved, it still must be processed for registration.



Register for Summer and Fall 2014 using the options and time frames described below

  • Degree student registration opens on March 24.  Non-degree student registration opens on March 27.
  • Self-registration in MaineStreet will open on March 24 at 6:00 a.m. and will remain open through May 4, 2014 for summer registration and through August 15, 2014 for fall registration.
  • Students may register in person, on campus (Augusta or Bangor), at a University College Center, or by calling 1-877-862-1234 (statewide), or 262-7808 (Bangor).

 Spring 2015

  • Registration for Spring 2015 opens on November 3, 2014 for degree students.
  • Registration for non-degree students begins on November 6, 2014.
  • You can set up your wishlist in MaineStreet any time, but please be sure to review your course information before you enroll in November.

Immunization Holds 

All UMA degree candidates and full-time non-degree students born in 1957 or later must provide documentation of two (2) doses of the MMR vaccine and one dose of Diptheria/Tetanus (DT, TD or DTP) administered within 10 years of enrollment or other documentation of proof of immunity. Students who are not in compliance will have holds placed on their accounts and will not be allowed to register for fall courses.
