In addition to being a VISTA lawyer in Legal Services in Louisiana and Maine, I practiced law in Maine for 10 years, and although I am still licensed, my Estate Administration {JUS 218} students “do” my will. I taught in law school at Franklin Pierce Law Center. I have been on a Town Council, Zoning Board of Appeals, a town Public Safety Committee, the Maine State Retirement System Board of Trustees as well being as an ice and field hockey mom. I was a CASA coordinator in the Maine Judicial Branch and also a volunteer in the real world.

Nothing is as exciting as the success of my students who are now police chiefs, lawyers, paralegals, probation officers, advocates and federal agents, and nothing is as interesting as their stories.
