Associate Director of Admissions
Kathy is responsible for the daily operation of the Admissions Office and oversees all recruitment and review processes. She has a depth of experience in admissions unmatched at UMA. Kathy also may review applications and works closely with the Maine Community College System in relation to transfer students. She works with international prospective students, helping them from their initial inquiry through to their matriculation status. Kathy works closely with other administration offices and faculty in relation to the admissions process.
Enrollment Services Admissions Coordinator
Gail is a recent UMA graduate who enjoys reviewing applications and meeting with applicants and prospective students. She develops and coordinates activities designed to assist individuals and groups with admissions and enrollment steps. Gail has oversight of UMA’s annual Guidance Counselor Luncheon and Open House events held on the Augusta campus. She also visits local high schools and attends recruiting events throughout Maine. In addition, Gail is the primary point of contact for high school groups interested in visiting the Augusta campus.
Enrollment Services Staff Associate
Jeremy is a UMA student working toward his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Sociology. He enjoys helping students navigate the start of the admissions and enrollment experience. In addition to reviewing applications Jeremy serves as the admissions point of contact for the Bachelor of Science in Aviation degree program. He also serves as the program coordinator for YoUMA, a week long summer scholar program held each July which offers college experience and college credit to high school students. Jeremy places visits to high schools and attends recruiting events throughout Maine.
Enrollment Services Staff Associate
Morgan is a recent graduate of Arkansas Tech University having earned a Master of Science in College Student Personnel. She is an alumna of the University of Southern Maine where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. Morgan is one of UMA’s main recruiters, visiting high schools in the southern region of the state and attending college fairs representing UMA. She works with prospective students and applicants to help them navigate each step of their admissions process. Further, Morgan supervises UMA’s Student Ambassadors. These exceptional students are on scholarship and represent the university through recruiting outreach and admissions office work. As a Mainer, Morgan is glad to be back and to have the opportunity to get students connected to UMA.
Amanda M. Webb
Enrollment Services Administrative Specialist I
Amanda is a UMA graduate, having earned her B.S. in Business Administration as well as a Certificate in Human Resource Management. Amanda’s primary responsibilities include reviewing applications and communicating with applicants to help them meet document requirements. She works closely with her supervisor Gail Pelletier to ensure that submitted applications are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Amanda enjoys helping to make application and admissions processes as smooth as possible for those who apply to UMA.
UMA Bangor Campus
Emily is a recent graduate of University of Maine, having earned her B.S in Business Management. As an Admissions Counselor on the Bangor Campus of UMA, Emily reviews applications, meets with perspective students and families, as well as assists with questions throughout the admissions process. She coordinates application review for the Veterinary Technology, Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting. She also serves as a recruiter, attending community events, visiting high schools and attending college fairs. Emily loves going out to represent and share her knowledge of UMA.
Records Technician II
Joan is the primary point of contact for Enrollment Services at UMA Bangor. She enjoys helping students by phone and in person with admissions, billing and financial aid questions.

Lori is a UMA student working toward finishing her BS in Mental Health and Human Services. She enjoys helping students by phone and in person with admissions, billing, and financial aid forms.
