UMA collaborates with Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) to help bring public transportation to the Augusta/Waterville area communities.
Students, faculty, and staff can ride free with the presentation of a UMA identification card. As gas prices creep upward, now is the time to take advantage of the bus routes that extend to downtown Gardiner, east to Togus, west to the Career Center and Cancer Center, plus a 30 minute departure schedule between UMA and downtown Augusta. Join the effort to decrease UMA's commuting carbon emissions while decreasing the cost of getting to and from classes. Consult the service schedule at the link below and look for the Kennebec Explorer logo at a bus stop most convenient for you. http://www.kvcap.org/augustatranssched.pdf
