Interpret the results of a personality style indicator (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) to gather insights for satisfying career and life choices. Completed inventories must be returned to UMA at least 1 week prior to the workshop. ($20 fee for community members, $2 home mailing fee)

The average shelf-life of a resume is about six months. Need to update or create your resume? Come to this workshop! You'll be able to learn the basics of designing a resume, how to word some of those tricky job descriptions, and cover letters will also be discussed Resume and cover letters for scholarship applications will also be covered pending student interest.

Use job fairs to your advantage! In this workshop, you will be able to find out how to best prepare yourself for entering a job fair. Topics include making the best professional impression, what to bring (or not bring) to a job fair, networking, and what to do after the big event. Transportation to the UMaine Career Fair on 2/1/12 and the USM Job Fair on 3/6/11 provided!
