Campus Community Connections Committee

An outgrowth of the very successful UMA 40th Anniversary Committee, the Campus Community Connections Committee (CCCC) was established by UMA’s President to:

  • Enhance campus and community relationships;
  • Collaborate with and support missions of other departments on campus;
  • Focus on identity and quality of life on campus;
  • Weave strong community connections through collaborative initiatives; and
  • Act as liaison between on and off campus populations.

Specifically, the goals of the CCCC are as follows:

  • Alumni – reconnect with graduates to foster alumni relationships and events
  • Archiving – develop an archiving system to preserve UMA’s history
  • Continue to create contacts in the community
  • Promote service activities on and off campus
  • Promote/develop/organize campus beautification projects
  • Participate in community affairs
  • Act as a resource for community engagement
  • Increase engagement of UMA’s Senior College
  • Explore and advocate for campus opportunities
