UMA Challenge Exams

Challenge examination is available to students who are enrolled in UMA degree programs. Challenge Exams are defined and prepared by UMA faculty.

NOTE: UMA Challenge Exams are only recognized by The University of Maine at Augusta. Credits cannot be transferred to other institutions.

To Register

1. Get an informational handout and challenge exam registration form from the Augusta campus or your local UMS.
2. CenterSend to the Academic and Career Advising Office (46 University Drive, Augusta, Maine 04330):
   
   • a completed registration form (#1-11)
   • an $80 fee, per exam, payable by check/ money order to UMA or debit/credit card.
   • a request for a map if you need directions to the testing location.
