Minor in Computer Information Systems

The Computer Information Systems minor is designed to allow students in other disciplines to earn a credential in the information technology area, which will enhance their marketability as technology skills are required in almost any career field.

 The Minor in Computer Information Systems is an 18-credit hour concentration with five required courses:

  • Introduction to Computer Science
  • Networking Concepts
  • Web Applications
  • Programming Elective
  • Systems Analysis
  • and two upper-level technology electives, which allows the student to focus in a specific IT area.
