Photography exhibit opens Monday, November 14th artist talks at 1pm, opening reception 4-6pm.
Photographers Christine Chin and Luc Demers will deliver artist talks on Monday, November 14th starting at 1pm, followed by an opening reception from 4-6pm in the Charles Danforth Gallery located in Jewett Hall.
Christine Chin is an artist whose work makes humorous and ironic commentary on contemporary issues of technology and the environment. Recent projects have addressed artificial intelligence, genetically modified food and alternative energy.Christine Chin has a MFA in Photography from the University of New Mexico and is an Assistant Professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She currently resides in Ithaca, New York.

Luc Demers utilizes photography as an exploration of absence, an opportunity to look and see in a way that is similar yet separate from our perception of the world.
Luc Demers has a MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts and teaches at the University of Maine at Augusta.
