The "Concerts at Jewett" Series sponsored by University of Maine at Augusta College of Arts and Sciences and UMA Senior College will present the Don Campbell Quartet: An Afternoon of Dan Fogelberg Music on Sunday, May 18, 2014, 2 PM at UMA Jewett Auditorium. Tom Yoder (violin), Kris Rodgers (piano), and Tonya Shevenell (bass) will join Don in a program honoring the music and legacy of Dan Fogelberg.

Maine native singer-songwriter Don Campbell's music is inspired by sources as diverse as the Celtic and Canadian Maritimes music of his family to Dan Fogelberg, Vince Gill, the Beatles and novelist, Stephen King. Writing in genres including adult contemporary, country, Celtic, Christmas, bluegrass, and rock, Don has released 12 CDs, most recently a two-disc, 23-song collection, "Kites To Fly: Celebrating The Music Of Dan Fogelberg". Co-based in Portland, Maine and Nashville, TN, Don averages between 150-200 performances per year. Campbell was named Maine’s Best Singer Songwriter six consecutive years, 2004-2009 (Maine Sunday Telegram's Annual Readers Poll, and Country Artist of the Year. He has opened for Country music legends like Randy Travis, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, Toby Keith and many others.
