Early application is encouraged. Deadline for fall 2013 is June 1st, 2013. Applications after this date will be considered on a space available basis. Classes are offered online, with lab being held on Fridays from 1pm-5pm during fall semester and every other Friday from 1pm-5pm during spring semester, 2014.

CURRICULUM
§ The dentist and student are required to participate in a calibration meeting which will be held early on in the fall semester. (Your sponsoring dentist will receive CEU credits).
§ DEH 380 Preclinical Expanded Functions (6 college credit hours)
o Fall semester: September 3rd – December 20th, 2013
o Lecture will be available online & lab will be every Friday from 1pm-5pm
§ DEH 381 Clinical Expanded Functions (2 college credit hours)
o Spring Semester begins January 2014
o Minimum of 120 clinical hours must be completed in-office with a minimum of 28 hours completed at the on-campus clinic
o Bench Examination to be administered May 2014
§ Upon completion of each course, student will earn Maine Category 1 CEU’s and/or Clinical Category DANB CEU’s, and the respective college credits
§ You will be registered by your advisor

Tuition, fees and other educational costs are approved annually for each of the seven campuses of the University of Maine System by the Board of Trustees. Tuition and fees may be amended between the time of registration and the beginning of classes pending annual Board review.
§ A $500 non-refundable deposit is due July 1st, 2013.
§ Should a student withdraw from the program, University drop/add policies are applicable.
§ Loupes will be required. Student discount pricing is available. Fitting will be in August, 2013.
§ Financial Aid may be available – it is highly recommended students fill out the FAFSA form found on www.fafsa.ed.gov and select University of Maine at Augusta, school code 006760, to have their Student Aid Report (SAR) forwarded to.
