Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is a figure used by the Financial Aid Office to determine the cost for a student to attend college for a period, typically an academic year.   A Cost of Attendance includes: estimated tuition & fees charged by the University, as well as allowances for books, supplies, transportation, housing & food allowances and personal expenses related to college attendance.

UMA Tuition and Fees

Registration for classes creates a financial obligation for the student.  Actual tuition and fees are charged based on the student’s residency as well as each class selected.   All tuition and fees are assessed by the UMA Student Accounts Office in accordance with the policies established by the University of Maine System Board of Trustees.
