FACILITIES MAINTENANCE WORKER – CL1
The University of Maine at Augusta (www.uma.edu) has an immediate opening for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Worker CL1 to join its Custodial department. If you take pride in maintaining campus facilities, we would like to hear from you. Duties include, but are not limited to: custodial care and cleaning of University facilities; securing campus buildings; reporting needed repairs; floor maintenance; room set-ups; moving furniture; snow removal and other manual labor. The normal work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, with occasional overtime hours. Wage: $10.55 per hour plus .40 cents shift differential for evening hours. Excellent fringe-benefits. Qualifications: Requirements: Must be detail oriented, well organized, and take pride in your work; have the ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds; ability to work nights and weekends and in adverse weather conditions; ability to read and follow written and oral instructions; work independently; possess a high school diploma or GED; have a valid Class C Maine driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Preferences: Previous related custodial experience.
