Whether you get your daily news from a paper, television, or from the web, health care issues are often headline news. With the passage of national health reform in 2010 through the Affordable Care Act (also called "Obamacare"), trying to understand where our nation's health care system is going has only become more confusing. Join Dr. Wendy Wolf, who brings over 30 years of knowledge, insights and experience as a health care provider and policy expert, to learn more about where our current health care system is headed. Focusing on the facts without the "spin", Dr. Wolf will discuss the Affordable Care Act, the recent Supreme Court ruling and what it means, and share some of the lesser known features of the law that are quietly changing health care for the better for people in Maine.
Forum on the Future is free!
Next Forum: October 21, 2:00 pm, Jewett Auditorium. Elizabeth Mitchell, CEO of Maine Health Management Coalition, will discuss ways to pay for and achieve this better health care. Title and panelists to be announced.
