At UMA, you'll study architectural graphics, design communication, history of architecture, construction techniques, and portfolio development, along with selected areas in art. Our curriculum emphasizes a creative and behavioral design approach, and compares to and often exceeds the highest established national standards for student work and architectural training.

In the fall of 2010, UMA’s Architecture program moved into spacious and renovated space in the Gannett Buidling on Water Street in Augusta. Already enjoying a growing reputation for excellence, the program now boasts some of the finest architectural instructional space anywhere.
