The Associate of Applied Arts in Graphic Arts degree opens doors to the world of print: phototypesetting, screen printing, bindery work, presswork, paste-up, camera work, and letterpress operations.
First-year studies, offered at UMA, cover foundation skills in studio arts, writing, and the liberal arts; second-year coursework, offered at Central Maine Community College in Auburn, builds technical skills needed for employment in graphics production.
