HTY 310 History of Maine

This course will survey the social, economic and political history of the State of Maine from prehistoric times until the recent past. It will emphasize the important role that people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds have had in shaping the unique character of the state. It will also explore Maine's connections with and contributions to the history of United States and worldwide events. Prerequiste: ENG 101 and any history course or permission of instructor.
