Honor's Healthy Harvest: Fun, Food, Fitness & Fu
October 11th, 2012
Randall Student Center Fireside Lounge, Augusta Campus
Welcoming the fall semester, the University of Maine at Augusta's Honor’s Student Program Association (HPSA) and Go Global are hosting a Healthy Harvest Potluck on Thursday October 11, in the fireside Lounge in the Randall Student Center.
The University’s academic theme is “Food,” and through hosting a potluck, UMA students and faculty can share in the positive experience of community building, while learning of the importance of healthy lifestyle decisions. The HPSA and Go Global believe that giving back to the community is an important step in developing community connections and building its overall strength.
Events include a Qigong demonstration with Sifu Al French at 8am on the quad, a yoga class at 10am and a potluck from 11:30am-1:00pm with other events to be announced later.
Come be a part of the University of Maine community and enjoy some food, fun and fitness. Please bring a healthy dish and fellowship to share with your classmates and faculty members.
