Office of Institutional Research and Planning
After several years of study and a recommendation by the Institutional Research Committee, UMA established the Office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) in late 2011. The Office provides institutional leadership and support in the practice areas of applied research and analysis, strategic planning, enrollment management, assessment and accreditation.
IRP brings together UMA's existing student data and systems support under a unified organizational structure. The Office collaborates with the UMA community to help answer essential questions through insightful research, actionable analysis and strategic counsel that can improve the quality of instruction, service and sustain institutional success. IRP is the official clearinghouse and repository for most statistical information requested by decision-makers, stakeholders, regulators and the public about the University of Maine at Augusta.
Transparency, accessibility, integrity, and timeliness are the shared values that shape the IRP mission and commitment to the UMA Community.
