Habib is UM professor and founding director of the interdisciplinary Advanced Structures& Composites Center. He employs 40 faculty/staff and 150 students from 15 academic departments and has Dept. of Energy contracts worth millions to our state for the Development of wind energy off Maine's seacoast.

Yellow is Senior Vice President of Bangor Savings Bank and Chair of Maine Coalition for Excellence in Education - working to improve Maine's education system. He was Special Assistant to the Commissioner of Education in Gov. King's admininistration and did much of the planning for the "laptop initiative".
