UMA's Associate of Science in Legal Technology is an applied curriculum in legal specialty courses balanced with a good foundation in the liberal arts. Graduates work as paralegals or legal assistants or continue their education in various related or law-related baccalaureate programs at UMA or other institutions
Enjoy employment opportunities ranging from private law firms, title companies, district attorneys' offices and the Maine court system. A significant number have been accepted at law schools after completing a baccalaureate program.
