Any workshop which is offered over ITV is available to view as a videostream shortly after the workshop is broadcast. The videos are located at the Blackboard Site called UMA College Success Workshops.
Viewing the videos requires that you use the Mozilla Firefox browser instead of Internet Explorer, and that the QuickTime Player is on the computer. Both programs are on all UMA computers. Using these programs allows the videos to be viewed from a Mac platform as well as with a PC.
For your own computer, Firefox is available as a free download:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html
QuickTime is available as a free download:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
To access the site the first time, you must self-enroll using the following steps.
Once you have self-enrolled, the UMA College Success Workshops link will appear in your My Courses list (where all of your Blackboard courses appear) whenever you log into Blackboard. Be sure to read the videostreaming Instructions posted in the Workshop Videos area. Choose the specific date and title for the workshop you want to view. You may wish to print off the Workshop Handouts before you view the video.
The following workshops are currently available to videostream.
Additional workshops will be available once they have been broadcast later in the semester.
