Learning Support & Counseling Services staff have created videos on a variety of skills and techniques you will need to learn well in college. The videos are located at the Blackboard Site called UMA College Success Workshops.
Viewing the videos requires that you use the QuickTime Player which is installed on all UMA computers. This player allows the videos to be viewed from either a Mac or a PC.
For your own computer, QuickTime is available as a free download:

- Move your curser over the course ID. A circle with a drop-down arrow will appear. Click the arrow.
- A drop-down box will open that says enroll. Click Enroll.
- A new screen will appear. Click Submit, then on the next screen click OK.
Once you have self-enrolled, the UMA College Success Workshops link will appear in your My Courses list (where all of your Blackboard courses appear) whenever you log into Blackboard. Click the link, then click the Worshop Videos item in the menu. Choose the specific date and title for the workshop you want to view.
