Sign ups start Monday, December 2, for UMA's 6th trip to New Orleans. $100 deposit required to hold your spot, total cost is $350. Cost includes accommodations, meals, and transportation. Work with Common Ground Relief, the green project, the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, and the New Orleans Mission. Enjoy a Jazz Cruise too! Conversation Course for Everyone! (Fre 103)
Have you thought about brushing up your French or want to try something new? FRE 103 "Conversational French for Everyone" (Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00 p.m.) is a multi-level course starts where you are! If you are just getting your feet wet, have taken classes in the past, or if you are reacquiring your French from childhood, this class is for you!

Bioethics Movie Night! 
Friday, Dec. 6 from 5-8pm in the Klahr Center. Come join the HPSA/ Biology Program/ Katz Library for a viewing of the 2004 Academy Award winning movie for Best Picture, "Million Dollar Baby" starring Clint Eastwood and Hilary Swank. We will be serving pizza, popcorn and beverages. Afterwards, engage in an open discussion as it relates the movie to our Academic Theme of Bioethics!

Saturday, December 14th in Eastport Hall Room 124 from 12:30-6pm.  There will be an American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Class held for students & staff.  Successful completion of course gives you a 2 year certification on all skills. Looking for a valuable work opportunity? The Writing Center needs volunteers and work-study students for Spring 2014. Plus, the Writing Center was recently awarded a Presidential Mini-Grant to make writing tutorials. You could earn a stipend for writing, directing, and producing these creative shorts! Intrigued?
