Silent Witness Project Silhouettes Displayed on Augusta campus

As part of their Intro to Women's Studies Class, students, Lenny Richards and Heidi Strassberg-Bersani are participating in the nationally recognized Silent Witness Project by displaying 13 head silhouettes of men, women and children who have died from an act of domestic violence in the past two years in Maine.  The silhouettes, which are labeled with information about each individual, can be found in the Katz Library, Jewett Hall and the Randall Student center.

Employment, Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

Looking for Tutors

The Augusta Tutoring Center needs Math, Science, Human Services, Psychology, and Business Tutors for the Spring. You don't have to be a genius in the subject to be a tutor. Students who have had to work at a good grade are often better tutors than students who just "know" the answer and can't explain the process. If you have taken a course and gotten a B+ or better you might be eligible to be a tutor.
