Non-Degree Students
At the University of Maine at Augusta, we believe that accessible, affordable, supportive, high-quality education should be available to anyone in Maine who has the interest and ability to benefit from college level studies, whether or not he or she is able to enroll in a degree program.
While most of our students are pursuing degree programs, we welcome anyone who wishes to take a college level course as a non-degree student. Some may wish to pursue a Certificate Program, or just take a few courses to help them gain the knowledge and recognition necessary to advance on the job. Some may wish to pursue a lifelong interest, or to become familiar with a subject area that they have not been able to study in an organized way before.
