University College at Rockland and Women, Work and Community will host a panel discussion about careers in computer information systems at URock.

Panelists include:

  • Langley Willauer, Ubisense, Camden
  • Mark Goodridge, UMA faculty in Computer Information Systems
  • Katie Glessner, Human Resources, Athena Health
  • Susanne Kohler, UMA CIS graduate and Hughes.net.

 

Attendees will gain an understanding of career opportunities and education paths and options in this industry. Maine is expected to have a shortage of 977 computer and information technology professionals by 2018. URock staff and WWC hope to inspire more interest in this career path.
