PHY 115 General Physics I

A study of the major principles and concepts of physics. Topics covered include mechanics, energy, statics, and fluids. No calculus is used. Laboratory work is designed to illustrate lecture topics. Prerequisite: MAT111 or waiver, and a minimum grade of "C" in ENG 5 and REA 8, or appropriate scores on the UMA placement test.
