PHY 116 General Physics II
A continuation of PHY 115. A study of the major principles of physics. The course work is concerned with heat, electricity, wave phenomena, and optics. Calculus is not used. Laboratory work is designed to illustrate principles discussed in class. Prerequisite: MAT 111 or waiver and a minimum grade of "C" in ENG 5 and REA 8 or appropriate scores on the UMA placement test.
