Secondary Education
The University of Maine at Augusta offers a 27 credit minor in Secondary Education for undergraduates and a 30 credit Certificate of Study in Secondary Education for post-baccalaureate students. All the courses except EDU 490: Internship in Student Teaching are delivered through distance learning technologies. Students are encouraged to go beyond the minimum requirements for the minor or certificate by taking additional education courses from UMA or from the University of Maine System.

EDU 366 fulfils the Children's Literature course required by MDOE certification office for K-8
EDU 390 fulfills the content area methods course required by MDOE certificaiton office for 7-12
