Originally from Grand Island, Nebraska, Scott is now one of the Northeast's busiest guitar instructors, juggling 60+ private students as well as serving on the adjunct faculty of the University of Maine - Augusta Music Department, where he teaches guitar and directs the "Progressive Rock" ensemble.

Scott's guitar style and teaching methods cross rock and jazz boundaries at will. His original material displays his extreme technical command of the guitar while staking out his own, unique harmonic territory. He has taken influences ranging from Allan Holdsworth and Steve Vai to Robben Ford and Jeff Beck and created his own distinct musical personality and style.

An endorsee for Dimarzio pickups, Xotic Effects, and Brian Moore guitars, as well as a featured artist in Guitar Player magazine's "Spotlight" series, Scott performance skills are sure to please both the casual music fan as well as the rabid guitar enthusiast.
