Need help creating a thesis, citing a source, or punctuating a sentence?  We offer these and other tutoring services in person and by phone, email, and videochat.

·         Drop in for a face-to-face session, Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm!

·         Call or email us with questions and appointment reservations!

·         Share your name, course ID, and instructor’s name, along with an uploaded assignment with writingtutor@maine.edu for feedback on your work  within 48 hours!

·         Join a Google Hangout session with Writing Center Coordinator Michelle Lisi, available by appointment.

Tutoring is intended to help students increase their understanding of course material, and improve their learning and study skills. Tutoring is available for most developmental and introductory courses as well as some upper-level courses. It is provided in individual or small group settings by qualified community or peer tutors. Tutoring is intended as a supplement to classroom instruction, and is not a substitute for regular attendance and participation in your classes.
