Testing and Assessment
Augusta coordinates and administers the academic placement tests, CLEP, DANTES, departmental challenge exams and the portfolio assessment process for the Augusta and Lewiston-Auburn campuses. Placement testing is also available at the Bangor campus. For students beginning their academic endeavor, academic placement testing assists students and advisors to determine appropriate course selections. For continuing students, other testing programs assist in evaluation of what you may have learned outside of the classroom setting.
