SnowPond Music Festival 300WUMA Partners with Snow Pond Music Festival to Provide Summer Courses with College Credit

The University of Maine at Augusta is partnering with the Snow Pond Music Festival (SPMF) to provide specialized summer music courses that offer college credit and continuing education credit.

Located on the beautiful campus of the New England Music Camp in Sidney, Maine, SPMF's exceptional performing and teaching musicians are joining the distinguished faculty of the University of Maine at Augusta Music Program to offer intensive 1-2 week college-level summer music programs in the month of June.

The programs being offered are as follows:

Composers’ Workshop (June 15 – 21)
Brass Techniques (June 5 - 11)
Maine Chamber Music Seminar (June 11 – 22)
New England Percussion Institute (June 7-13)
Frederick L. Hemke Saxophone Institute (June 9 – 21)

Each program will provide students with the opportunity to work one-on-one with professional musicians in rehearsal, workshop and private lesson formats while earning continuing education credit or UMA college credits.
