Objective 1.4.2 Strategies and Benchmarks
1.4.2 The University will collaborate with other institutions in the University of Maine System to implement the goals of the University of Maine System Strategic Plan.
This objective is going to be led by the System as it implements its Strategic Plan. 1.4.2 simply states that UMA will be an active participant in that implementation and collaborate for the greater good of the state and in the interests of Central Maine.
With the turnover at the System level in FY '07, the UMS Strategic Plan is on hold until a permanent new Chancellor is appointed. The CAO's are scheduled to review the UMS Plan in February 2007 and make their recommendations about what components of the plan should be pursued in the future.
