4.1.1 To improve the quality of services and create efficiencies, a Director of Enrollment Management will be appointed to oversee and coordinate the Admissions, Registrar's, Student Financial Aid and Student Accounts offices.
The various functions of Enrollment Management have been housed under the V.P. for Finance.
With V.P. for Finance Campbell's departure at the end of 2006 to assume a position at USM, the need to address this matter has taken on some urgency. UMA will search for a Dean of Enrollment Management in the spring of 2007. The new position will report to the Executive Vice President and Provost. Tentatively, the position is seen as supervising the following functional areas: admissions; financial aid; student accounts; institutional research; registrar and records. The Dean of Enrollment Management will also serve as the Director of Admissions.
