6.2.5. The University will seek opportunities to expand the use of the College Center in Bangor.
The College Center is well used with regular rentals to community organizations and entities. However, in keeping with strategic objectives 6.1 and 6.2., the University, beginning in FY '08, will actively seek more opportunities to partner with other educational institutions, community organizations, and the City to co-sponsor programs with strong community, intellectual, and/or cultural focus.
The University currently partners with the University of Maine System, including the System Office, Senior College, the Muskie School, the Women's Studies Consortium, the University of Southern Maine, Spruce Run, an area domestic abuse organization, and VISTA.
