7.2.2 The Technology Advisory Planning Committee will consult with technology providers to identify how to improve access and functionality, how to budget for improvements, and how to schedule network upgrades.
Continuing in FY '07, the IT staff and Technology Advisory Planning Committee will work closely with UMS ITS, the campus IT Directors, the various campus IT staff, and Computer Connection, the UMS preferred vendor to plan, schedule, and implement network upgrades. Beginning in FY '09, the IT staff and Technology Advisory Planning Committee will work closely with UMS ITS, the campus IT Directors, the various campus IT staff, and Computer Connection to help determine the best strategies to fulfill the objectives of the FY 2010 – 2014 Technology Plan.
