The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides part-time employment for eligible students with financial need allowing students to earn money to pay their educational expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. Eligible students will find their maximum earnings for this program listed as a part of their award in MaineStreet. Pay rates are determined by the job description associated with the job selected. Eligible students must submit their Student Employment Authorization no later than June 15th for summer and October 1st for the academic year to avoid cancellation. Awards are based on the availability of funding.
