Bry Martin’s teaching interests center on legal writing, legal history, administrative law, and property law. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he has served as a Managing Editor for the Harvard Environmental Law Review, mediated in small claims courts throughout the greater Boston area, and practiced as a real estate and environmental attorney in San Diego, California. He has also trained as a historian, receiving graduate degrees from Stanford University and the University of Notre Dame, where he is finishing a Ph.D. expected in the Summer of 2020. As a historian, he explores the intellectual contribution of legal reform and religious belief to the rise of the first English political parties in late seventeenth-century England.
