Step One: Log in to the scholarship application portal.
The scholarship portal may be accessed using your MaineStreet login and password. Your data file is linked to MaineStreet using your maine.edu email address and your student ID as your unique identifier. As a result, you are not able to modify your profile and all communications and award acceptances will be completed through this program and your maine.edu email address. This will provide a more streamlined process from application to award acceptance, and a much quicker turnaround for distributing funds to your account. If you do not know your MaineStreet login and password, call the UMS IT HelpDesk at 207-581-2506.
You will need to select the appropriate renewal application and may need to update your eligibility on SurveyMonkey. Please reach out to us if you need assistance: firstname.lastname@example.org, 207-581-7070.
Step Two: Read and sign the certification.
If there are any changes in your FAFSA information, EFC, enrollment or circumstances, please notify the Success Center as soon as possible. This includes funding sources, waivers, scholarships, etc. If you have an extenuating circumstance that may affect your scholarship eligibility, please contact us regarding the possibility of a one-time exception.
Step Three: Submit. THIS IS OFTEN MISSED, please double check
Please note, the program will not allow you to submit your renewal until the document has been signed.
