A placement test will evaluate your skill level and place you in the class that’s right for you.

UMA Rockland Center administers computerized placement tests (CPT) for prospective and current students. The test is designed to measure skills in English and mathematics, and the scores are used to determine the most appropriate placement for each student. Some students may place into college-level courses, some students may need to enroll in developmental classes.
