2017 Veterans Day Activities at Augusta & Bangor Campuses

The University of Maine at Augusta will hold various events to honor and thank veterans for their service at its Augusta and Bangor campuses during the week of November 6th.

Monday, November 6, 2017

UMA Bangor Campus at Eastport Hall 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

The Bangor campus recognition events for veterans will begin with a flag folding demonstration then followed by a Lunch and Learn titled “Know Your Community Resources” in Room 124.  After the lunch and learn refreshments will be available in the Huskins Lounge and Robert Roper, Interim Dean UMA Bangor Campus will make brief remarks.

UMA Augusta Campus Randall Student Center Foyer 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

The Augusta campus recognition events for veterans will begin with a flag folding demonstration, followed by refreshments and brief remarks by Amy Line, UMA Director of Military and Veteran Services.  All activities will take place in the Randall Student Center Foyer.
