Bring Your Business Idea to Life!

New Ventures Maine has an open call for Venturing Forth: Business Planning for Entrepreneurs, a free, comprehensive business planning class, to be offered in a hybrid format this summer. Participants can attend in person at NVME – UMA Brunswick Center or online via Zoom.

For new entrepreneurs or existing business owners, Venturing Forth helps businesspeople create a written business plan from start to finish. The eight-week course includes in-class activities, guest speakers, and assignments that lead to the completed business plan and road map for success.

The class will meet in person on Tuesdays from July 1 through August 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Individuals complete an online application and attend an orientation and individual interview to participate in the class. Anyone with a business idea or current business is welcome to apply.

The online application is due by noon on Friday, June 20. Class size is limited to 15.
