What will I need to do to keep myself and others safe while on Campus or at a Center?

Everyone can expect that access to all buildings may be limited. Before coming to campus, everyone should self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and stay home if exhibiting symptoms, feeling ill, or if exposed to someone who is ill or has tested positive for COVID-19.

Most importantly, everyone will be required to wear a face covering. Those working alone in their offices may remove face coverings, however, face coverings must be used in public spaces and when interacting with other people. While at UMA locations, physical distancing must be maintained.

Offices have safeguards in place, such as plexiglass shields or have been reconfigured to ensure physical distancing.

UMA has in place protocols for testing and tracing anyone who may have been exposed or tested positive for COVID-19. For more information about mandatory testing requirements, please visit uma.edu/return/testing.
