Whether you’re interested in business, information graphics, data art, healthcare, community engagement, or organizational communication, our distance program equips you with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in the field and set you apart as a Data Visualization and Representation (DVR) expert, wherever you are.
With data literacy becoming an essential skill in today’s workforce, our certificate program will help you stand out in the job market. Employers across various sectors are actively searching for professionals who can not only access, mine, and research data but also transform it into visually powerful stories that resonate with authenticity, precision, and impact.
Our program is a unique blend of diverse disciplines. With a focus on ethical data practices, research, data mining, and visual storytelling, the DVR certificate is designed to empower all aspiring data professionals, management experts, and leaders.
What sets our program apart is the open sharing of work in a virtual studio setting, enabling collaborative critique and feedback to enhance your presentation skills, preparing you for real-world scenarios.
The program’s core curriculum consists of six courses, divided into three arms: the Data Computer Arm, the Ethical Research Arm, and the Art Critique and Storytelling Arm.
The capstone course features experts from various disciplines who provide valuable insights to enhance your project and presentation skills. This program is designed to prepare you to be the best at telling your data-driven stories, to be confident in responding to questions, and to be continuous in improving your work.
Don’t miss this opportunity to become a master of data visualization and representation. Apply now and embark on a journey to elevate your data storytelling skills and make a meaningful impact in your chosen field.
After completing this certificate, you will be able to design and create data visualizations and have the ability to do the following in your data visualizations:
