Handwriting Analysis Responses

Last month the Office of Student Life offered students the opportunity to have their handwriting analyzed by Jacob Mayfield, a Chicago-based mind reader and mentalist. Here is some of the feedback students shared about their readings!

“Jacob was on point, I do appreciate history, I am on a path of self growth & change and my family & community is very important to me.”

“I was astounded by the accuracy of 2 specific details. First, he mentioned the lining up of my lefthand margin and how that often reflects someone who wants to get things started and used the comparison of being in a group and pushing others to get started. That is me! The second was about my righthand margin and how it was larger as if I was saving space. And he said that is often seen in someone frugal with resources and I can attest that I am frugal with resources – I have a whole stack of gift cards that I have been saving for just the right thing!”

“The bottom part of your letters (below the line, like g’s and j’s) is very exaggerated. Reminiscent of handwriting that was analyzed at the turn of the last century. (I’m also very drawn to this time period, I have recently been hunting down used old books, pre-1920s)… Gentle use of embellishments throughout, ‘decorations.’ Someone who doesn’t like living purely in a utilitarian environment (say that again !) ‘Not thriving in a concrete block of a home.’ Something more customized, special, and personal to them. (I have daydreams about designing my own home, and it definitely won’t look like a standard house!)”
